A Baby is Coming!

Today my oldest sister, Alexis, had her baby shower! She is pregnant with her first child that happens to be a baby girl. This will also be the first grand-baby in the fam :)

It was great, there were some really cute bundt cakes and these binkies that were sooo cute! If you like snickerdoodle cookies, you would have loved these little cakes. And those binkies, when you see them, you just want to make some!

During the shower we played a game called, "How Well You do Your Duty"..... It will make more sense when I explain it. So you have a couple of diapers, and inside each of them there are different types of melted, chocolate, candy. (Do you see where I am going with this??) When you get a diaper, you need to try and guess what kind of candy it is and who ever got them all right wins a gift card! Although it was weird to sniff a diaper and poke it, it was a really fun game and everyone enjoyed it!

Don't worry, the brown stuff in the diaper is chocolate! :)

Stuffed French Toast... That's where it's at.

Has anyone had stuffed french toast?? It is one of my favorite breakfasts so I made it today! I tweaked the recipe I normally used and I think it turned out better, so here it is:

Stuffed French Toast: Filling:
- 1/2 cup of cream cheese
- 1/2 cup of cool whip
- 3 Tbs. of powdered sugar
- 3 Tbs. of orange juice
- chocolate chips
- bananas or strawberries

 French toast: However you make it or:
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 cup of milk
- Cinnamon
- Tsp. of vanilla

Just put those together and you have a great breakfast.... Might not be the healthiest but it's good! Bon apetit!! :)

Truly Counting My Blessings.

So my sister McKenna and her best friend have come to the age where it's time to go to college. Depressing right... But as a good sister I decided to make a gift for McKenna. ;) There is this blog that I came across called Lil' Luna and it had this idea:

It's super cute, so I decided to try it! Obviously mine doesn't look like their's but it still looks good. Plus all the stuff on it is handmade.

Although these boards aren't professional they still are cute and unique. My sister is truly a blessing in my life and I wish her the best in college!
